Join the ellicottvilleNOW Team and the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce on April 8th from 2:00-4:00pm for an afternoon of fun. Come out and play some Kan Jam, hang out and view the path of totality from right inside the village. Snacks will be provided, but please bring your own beverages and lawn chairs. Eclipse glasses will be available and are being provided by the Ellicottville Chamber.


SOLAR WATCH PARTY

Members of the Arboretum Committee are inviting the public to use the wide-open spaces by the pond and meadows to view this spectacular event. The eclipse will begin at 2:03pm. Protective glasses, compliments of Catt. County, will be free at the entrance to the arboretum beginning at 1:00pm. Bring your favorite lawn chair and follow the asphalt path to the pond and open areas on the arboretum grounds.


TOTAL ECLIPSE PARTY

Join HoliMont for an unforgettable day watching the solar eclipse in totality at the Main Chalet with a patio party at the club from 12:00-4:00pm. There will be cornhole (weather permitting), a trivia contest, and a cookout with the eclipse viewing at 3:15pm. Anyone can attend, the event is open to the public FREE of charge. Eclipse glasses will be available if you do not have your own.

Join the crew at Ellicottville Distillery for the Solar Eclipse on Monday, April 8th! They are opening at 12:00pm and will have some eclipse glasses available! You can feel free to bring your own lawn chairs, though limited seating is available. There will be live music with Greg Zeis (half of The Rightly So Duo) from 2:00-5:00pm. Get yourself a specialty cocktail, then sit and enjoy the show!


ECLIPSE WITH THE ALPACAS

Come watch the solar eclipse with the Alpacas of Ellicottville! This event is free and open to the public. The on-site alpaca store will be open and has a wide variety of quality apparel and yarn made from alpaca fiber including socks, scarves and hats. Please bring your own chairs and protective glasses for viewing this once in a lifetime event. Sit out with our furry friends and relax while the sky goes from sunny to dark and back again.

Join the Challenger Learning Center’s Director, Reann Ehman, at the Ellicottville Library on April 8th, to watch and learn about the Total Solar Eclipse. There will be kids activities and several viewing options! In Ellicottville, the total solar eclipse starts at 2:04pm and continues until 4:30pm, with totality at 3:20pm. This is a once in a lifetime viewing opportunity, so make sure your kids and yourself don’t miss out.


PARTY ON THE PORCH

Ellicottville’s favorite party bar is ready to Party on the Porch with everyone on April 8th, starting at 2:00pm. The first 40 people who arrive can snag a free pair of eclipse glasses. There may not be any live music but the upstairs bar will be hopping and there will be special drink deals for you to indulge in. So come on up and watch the path of totality with the Madigan’s crew and party on the porch!!


CASINO ECLIPSE PARTY

Come to the Seneca Allegany Casino on April 8th from 2:00-5:00pm for a special family‑friendly event featuring food trucks, cornhole and other outdoor games, face painting & caricature artists, a rock climbing wall & other family friendly activities, live entertainment and cash bar. We encourage guests to dress accordingly for the weather, and bring their own viewing glasses as our quantities are limited, and their own lawn chairs.

Springville Center for the Arts and the Main Street Association invite the community to attend their FREE Solar Eclipse Blackout Block Party on April 8th from 2:00-6:00pm, on the block of Main Street and Mechanic. There will be live music, kids activities, merchandise, vendors, and food trucks. Bring your own lawn chair and come hang out. Viewing glasses will be available at the Springville Historical Society or the library.
