Madigan’s Basket Raffle
On May 25th, Madigan’s Bar & Restaurant will be hosting a fun event to support Richard Jackson’s Empire State Ride. On July 20th-27th, Rick will be peddling his bicycle across NY State will 300+ other riders to support research at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. There will be a basket raffle, 50/50, silent auction items, skis, boots, Bills jerseys, artwork and more!! Come out and support this great cause!

Chicken BBQ
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is hosting a Chicken BBQ on Friday, May 31st from 12pm-6pm. BBQ will be provided by Carson’s Food Truck, which will be set up on location. $15 Pre-sale tickets ($17 day of) are available now, for the chicken dinners only. Trash & Treasure Sale
The annual Trash and Treasure Sale hosted by St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ellicottville has become a favorite around Ellicottville because of its size and scope of items. St Paul’s parishioners have been most generous, bringing us great quality items. People each year rave about the treasures, and they love that almost everything has been donated. St Paul’s takes in just about everything, including small furniture (although nothing too heavy, please), and as usual, NO TVs, NO BIG APPLIANCES, NO COMPUTERS OR PRINTERS, NO ELECTRONICS OF ANY KIND. Don’t go hungry while you shop, because the famous Treasure Café will have another great menu including hot dogs (grilled to your liking), fresh potato salad, drinks, and homemade hot fudge sundaes. Mark Your Calendars! You still have time to clean out your closets, garages, barns, attics, basements, and bedrooms, and tell your friends to do the same. So, save the date and come out for the biggest Trash and Treasure sale in the county. Friday, June 7th from 9 AM to 4 PM and Saturday, June 8th from 9 AM to 3 PM. Par for a Purpose
The Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce and Labatt are partnering up to bring you a golf tournament at the Double Black Diamond that benefits a great cause, the 11 Day Power Play and its fight against cancer. It begins with a 1PM shotgun start and the tournament is open to the first 144 players to sign up. Limestone New Home Day
Limestone Fire department is hosting a new event, New Home Day: Old Home Days with a twist! There will be a craft show, duck races, and cornhole tournament along with a kids carnival, a dunk tank, and their wonderful Chicken BBQ! Activities start at 11 am and run through the day!
2024 Trail Sale

22nd Annual Community Wide Garage Sale
The 22nd annual Community-Wide Garage Sale will be held on Saturday, May 11th 9 AM until 4 PM. The Olean community wide garage sale is a one day event this year. Maps and a complete listing of locations and items of the garages sales will be available FREE at the Chamber office, 301 North Union Street. The event has no rain date. Cinco De Mayo 5K
Join the Friends of Little Valley for a festive Cinco de Mayo 5K race suitable for all ages! Lace up your running shoes and get ready for a day of fun and fitness in support of our community. Proceeds from the event will contribute towards future community initiatives, with a portion dedicated to Saving Grace Outreach. 5k De Mayo – Trailsquatch Trail Run
Grab your trail running shoes, friends, and family, to celebrate Cinco de Mayo at the 1st Annual 5K de Mayo Trailsquatch Trail Run at Holimont Resort in Ellicottville, New York! The WNY Maple Festival celebrates the rich history of maple producing in our community. This event was formed by the Franklinville Jaycee’s in 1963 to highlight local producers, their maple syrup, and maple products. This year there will be vendors, a chicken bbq, ayce pancake breakfasts, live entertainment and so much more. So if you’ve never been to the Annual WNY Maple Festival or you’d like to fill an afternoon with nostalgic fun, this is the year to visit. Coffee & Chocolate Festival
The Coffee & Chocolate Festival at Peek’n Peak Resort is a celebration of all things coffee and chocolate related… and then some! Festival attendees will sample a variety of coffee roasts and styles, along with a multitude of decadent chocolate-themed sweets from local and surrounding area businesses. Join local coffee shops, gourmet roasters, artisan chocolatiers, bakeries, wineries and more. Explore additional exhibitors and their products and purchase items to take home. 1st Annual Showdown Throwdown
Presented by Loud Performance, Loud Underground, and Daily City Train, the first annual Showdown Throwdown snowboard event is set for Saturday, April 27th. Using the last few mounds of snow from HoliMont, the Loud Underground/DCT parking lot at 2 Bristol Lane (next to Tim & Bonnie’s Pizza) will be completely transformed for this jam-format snowboarding event! The $35 registration fee will give you the chance to show off your skills and vie for some really cool prizes, including a new snowboard, skateboard, and cold hard cash! Tons of other prize packs will be awarded in a number of categories. Registration will open the morning of the Throwdown from 10:00am-noon, with the event kicking off promptly at noon.

2024 Total Solar Eclipse Event
FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT. Open to all ages. Come to the Seneca Allegany Casino on April 8th from 2 PM ‑ 5 PM for a special family‑friendly event featuring: Food trucks, Cornhole & other outdoor games, Face painting & caricature artists, Rock climbing wall & other family friendly activities, Live entertainment and Cash bar. We encourage guests to dress accordingly for the weather, and bring their own viewing glasses as our quantities are limited. VIEWING AREA LOCATED IN EAST END PARKING LOT. Get here early. Join the ellicottvilleNOW Team and The Chamber on April 8th from 1:00pm — 4:00pm for an afternoon of fun. View the path of totality from our front lawn, right in downtown Ellicottville. Will have Kan Jam, sidewalk chalk, snacks and tunes. This event is FREE TO ATTEND. Please bring lawn chairs and beverages. All ages welcome. Eclipse With the Alpacas
Come watch the Solar Eclipse with the Alpacas of Ellicottville. Event is free. Alpaca store will be open and has a wide variety of quality apparel and yarn made from Alpaca fiber including socks, scarves and hats. Bring your own chair and protective glasses for viewing this once in a lifetime event.
Blackout Block Party
Springville Center for the Arts and the Main Street Association invite the community to attend the Solar Eclipse Blackout Block Party on April 8th from 2:00pm — 6:00pm, on the block of Main Street and Mechanic. There will be live music, kids activities, merchandise, vendors, and food trucks. Admission to the event is FREE! Bring your own lawn chair and come hang out. Viewing glasses will be available at the Springville Historical Society or the library.
Solar Eclipse Viewing @ The Ellicottville Library
Join the Challenger Learning Center's Director, Reann Ehman, at the Ellicottville Library to watch and learn about the Total Solar Eclipse. There will be kids activities and several viewing options! In Ellicottville, the total solar eclipse starts at 2:04pm and continues until 4:30pm, with totality at 3:20pm. They will live stream the event in case of overcast weather.
Solar Watch Party
Join Us at the Nannen Arboretum for a “Solar Watch Party”. An important historical event is happening on Monday April 8, 2024. The Nannen Arboretum at 28 Parkside Drive, Ellicottville, is in the direct path of the full solar eclipse. Members of the arboretum committee are inviting the public to use the wide-open spaces by the pond and meadows to view this spectacular event. The eclipse will begin at 2:03 pm. Full totality will be at 3:17 pm and the eclipse will be over at 4:30 pm. Protective glasses, provided compliments of Cattaraugus County, will be free at the entrance to the arboretum beginning at 1 pm. Bring your favorite lawn chair and follow the asphalt path to the pond and open areas on the arboretum grounds. Refreshments and bathrooms will be available.
Total Eclipse Party @ HoliMont
Join HoliMont for an unforgettable day watchin the solar eclipse in totality with a patio party at the club! Games and cookout on the patio! Cornhole, Trivia Contest, Cook-out on the patio, and Solar Eclipse viewing at 3:15pm. Anyone can attend, no charge. – Eclipse glasses will be available if you do not have your own.

Ellicottville Annual Easter Egg Hunt
The Ellicottville Volunteer Fire Department events the community to bring their children out to the Town Park on March 30th at 1pm for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. This is the Ellicottville event of the Easter holiday. All ages are welcome and it’s FREE to attend. The hunt is done by age group, there are three groupings. Each child receives a ticket and there are drawings for the Grand Prize Chocolate Bunny, some stuffed animals, etc… There will be multiple winners. There will also be free peeps and jelly beans. Don’t miss out.
