104 Nonprofits to Participate in 2024 Cattaraugus Gives on December 2

Cattaraugus Gives returns December 2 with 104 participating nonprofits, $29,000 in prize incentives, and $9,000 in matching funds, inviting the community to support local organizations during a 24-hour online giving event hosted by the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation.


OLEAN - 104 nonprofits from across the Cattaraugus County region are set to raise funds during Cattaraugus Gives on Tuesday, December 2nd. Presented by the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation, Cattaraugus Gives is a 24-hour online fundraising event that brings together area nonprofits of any service area, size or mission in friendly competition to celebrate the community’s spirit of giving. 



In 2024, 96 nonprofits participating in Cattaraugus Gives together raised $331,512 for their respective causes. With that total, Cattaraugus Gives has no helped nonprofits raise over $1.5 million to improve the lives of those living in our community.

Giving will begin on the cattaraugusgives.org website at 12:00am on Tuesday, Dec. 2nd and will continue for the next 24 hours. Donors can help the participating organizations win prizes from a pool of $29,000 in prizes sponsored by CRCF and a number of area businesses. Donors will also have the chance to win themselves, as there will be 4 gift card drawing throughout the day, as well as a Buffalo Sabres hockey puck signed by Peyton Krebs during designated time periods. Additionally, there are a number of matches and challenges available, which will increase the impact of the donors’ gifts. This year, $9,000 in matching funds will be available throughout the day.

“The public is invited to make their gifts and watch the live leaderboard throughout the day at cattaraugusgives.org,” said Tyler Veno, CRCF Communications and Fund Development Manager and Cattaraugus Gives Coordinator. “This year, we have more participating organizations and prizes than we have ever had, which certainly adds to the excitement. It’s truly special to watch the community rally around causes that mean the most to them, and we look forward to seeing that compassion drive meaningful change again in 2025.”
