Halloween creeps into Ellicottville this weekend, bringing sweet treats, spooky stories, and plenty of fun for all ages! The festivities kick off Friday, Oct. 30th at 1:00pm when ECS students in Pre-K through 5th grade parade through the village in costume. Downtown businesses and community members are invited to line the sidewalks and hand out candy as the kiddos make their way from The City Garage to the post office.
Later in the evening, the Ellicottville Historical Society hosts its final Ghost Walk of the season, departing from the Gazebo at 7:30pm. Expect tales of murder, mayhem, and learn about Ellicottville’s darker past. For details, call 716-699-2276.
On Halloween night, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church hosts its Trunk or Treat in the parking lot from 5:00-7:00pm, while the Rotary Club keeps the fun going inside with games, candy, cider, and donuts. And of course, village-wide trick-or-treating runs Saturday, Oct. 31st from 5:00-9:00pm. Happy haunting!
