Salamanca Rehab & Nursing Center Launches Summer Raffle Fundraiser for Resident Activities

Community raffle will help fund entertainment, seasonal events, and quality-of-life programs for residents at Salamanca Rehab & Nursing Center

SALAMANCA - A little sunshine, a little sizzle, and a whole lot of community spirit are coming together as the Salamanca Rehab & Nursing Center Activities Department announces its Summer Raffle Fundraiser, designed to support engaging programs and meaningful experiences for residents.

This year’s raffle features prizes built for relaxation and backyard enjoyment. The grand prize is a vibrant outdoor seating set, perfect for soaking up warm summer days. As an added bonus, participants will also have the chance to win a four-burner gas grill, generously donated by The Home Depot.

Tickets are affordably priced to encourage broad community participation, with options of one ticket for $5, three for $10, or eight for $20. The winning ticket will be drawn on July 11 during the center’s Annual Golf Tournament. Participants do not need to be present to win.

All proceeds from the raffle will directly benefit the Activities Department at Salamanca Rehab & Nursing Center, helping to fund events, entertainment, and special experiences that enhance quality of life for residents.

“Opportunities like this raffle allow us to bring moments of joy, connection, and celebration into the lives of those we serve,” said Craig Southard, Director of Maintenance Facilities and tournament coordinator. “From music and games to seasonal events, these funds help turn ordinary days into something special.”

Community members can purchase tickets via Venmo (@Craig-Southard-2) or by contacting Craig Southard at 716-244-7429 or Brit Holdridge at 716-790-2365.

Whether you’re dreaming of a new backyard setup or simply looking to support a meaningful cause, this raffle offers a chance to do both.  For more information or to get involved, please reach out using the contact information above.
