Run, walk, and celebrate with colleagues and friends at the Southern Tier Corporate Challenge, now open to the public!
OLEAN - The Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce (GOACC) is thrilled to announce registration is now open for the 15th Annual Southern Tier Corporate Challenge, taking place on June 26th at 6:00 pm at JCC Olean Campus. This exciting event promises an evening full of wellness, fun, and community spirit. Afterwards is Olean’s “Largest Office Party,” where participants can celebrate their hard work with post-race grub from eight of our Member food trucks, beer from Wright Beverage, and more! Last year’s event drew over 1,000 participants from all over the region.
Thanks to Race Management Solutions and timing graciously sponsored by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, participants can expect a professionally timed 5K run, where runners can compete for awards (and bragging rights). Those who choose not to run can enjoy a leisurely stroll with friends and colleagues in the non-timed 2.1-mile Fun Walk.
GOACC is excited to once again bring member businesses, their employees, and the community together for the area’s favorite wellness event! And for the first time ever, we are opening the event to the public. Public participants who aren't employed by a GOACC member business are able to register as individuals or on their own Community Team. Teams made up of employees of GOACC Member businesses are encouraged to enter the Corporate Division. Hybrid teams will also join the Community Division. Form your Corporate and Community teams today!
Who doesn’t love an award and a little recognition? There will be overall Fastest Female and Fastest Male awards, Corporate and Community awards, and Most Spirited - so make sure you show your team pride!
Participants will receive a $12 food voucher and one free beer ticket (with proof of legal age) with their official race bib, complimentary waters throughout the event and a 15% off coupon for the official event shirt, redeemable on the shop.oleanny.com. All participants will be ID’ed at registration before they are given their wristband and beer ticket. Additional beer tickets will be sold. The minimum age to participate is 16+ or children in a stroller with their parent.
