“The Shape of Clay” Exhibition Opens at Tri-County Arts Council in Olean

A new exhibition in Olean showcases the beauty and versatility of ceramic art through functional, decorative, and sculptural works.


OLEAN - Tri-County Arts Council is pleased to announce “The Shape of Clay,” an exhibition celebrating the versatility and creativity of ceramic art. The show will be on view in the Peg Bothner Gallery, located at 110 West State Street in Olean. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, April 25th from 5:00-8:00pm. This event is free and open to the public.



Featuring work by local and regional artists, “The Shape of Clay” highlights a wide range of ceramic practices, including functional ware, decorative pieces, and sculptural forms. The exhibition is curated by Gallery and Market Coordinator Melissa Locke. “The Shape of Clay” will remain on display through May 30th.
