Cheers to 20 Years: Art in the Wilds • June 27 & 28
Kick off your summer with a splash of color at the 20th Anniversary of Art in the Wilds. Held under the leafy shade of Evergreen Park, this is the only outdoor juried fine arts and craft show in the entire PA Wilds region. Named the 2025 PA Wilds Event of the Year - and previously lauded by Sunshine Artist magazine as one of the 11 “MUST Attend” shows in the nation - this free-admission festival is a mandatory stop for anyone who appreciates true craftsmanship. You will meet 40 incredibly talented, juried artists from across Pennsylvania and New York eager to share their creative process. Expect to browse stunning, one-of-a-kind displays of acrylics, watercolors, photography, handcrafted wood, intricate jewelry, leatherwork, porcelain, and mixed media sculptures.
To celebrate two decades of creativity, the Trail Central’s Visitor Bureau is turning up the temperature by bringing "Hot Wheels" to the park. Powered by the Pittsburgh Glass Center, this mobile glass studio will feature live, furnace-fired glass-blowing demonstrations right before your eyes!
Bring your friends and family (the Kane Children’s Museum is conveniently right across the street!), but please leave your pups at home, as non-service dogs aren't permitted in the park. Come hungry, because seven food booths will be serving up everything from crab cakes and sausage subs to funnel cakes, ice cream, kettle corn, and vegan wraps. The show runs rain or shine: Saturday from 10:00am-5:00pm and Sunday from 10:00am-4:00pm.
Welcome to Hotel California: Squatchfest • Saturday, July 11
Dust off your air guitar and get ready for a legendary day under the stars. Squatchfest is taking over the historic Kane Family Drive-In, and it kicks off with a masterful journey through one of the most game-changing song catalogs in rock history.
Taking center stage as the ultimate headliner is Hotel California. For over three decades, they have been the gold standard of tribute performances, masterfully recreating the legendary sound of The Eagles. From the soaring harmonies of “Peaceful Easy Feeling” to the intricate guitar duels of “Hotel California,” every note is performed with obsessive precision. Welcome to the Hotel California - you can check out anytime you like, but you’ll never want to leave!
Experience non-stop pop-rock nostalgia with the sequins, soul, and the spectacle of the Rocket Man. Captain Fantastic - The Magic of Elton John is a dazzling tribute that brings the legendary career of Sir Elton to life with stunning authenticity. Captain Fantastic will amaze you with costumes that go from bizarre to breathtaking, and his amazing 5-foot baby grand piano will shower you with lights, smoke, lasers, and a few surprises. You may think you've gone down the Yellow Brick Road!
The music festival also pays homage to Billy Joel. Direct from the heart of the "New York State of Mind," 52nd St. delivers the definitive Billy Joel experience. This isn't just a tribute; it’s a high-energy celebration of the hits, the history, and the blue-collar brilliance of the Bronx’s favorite son. From the soulful storytelling of “Piano Man” to the rock-and-roll grit of “You May Be Right,” 52nd St. captures the raw energy and polished musicianship of Billy Joel’s legendary live performances. Rounding out the stellar musical lineup are high-energy sets from regional favorites County Lines and Donny Burns & The Third Degree.
With gates opening at 2:00pm and live music kicking off at 3:00pm, the drive-in will be packed with wild fun far beyond the stage. Don’t miss a team of skydivers bringing in the American Flag and kicking off the festival and the area’s largest fireworks display after Hotel California. Grab a cold one with Straub Beer flowing all day long, and fuel up on your favorite drive-in style snack bar eats. Between sets, browse over 15 local vendors, score awesome giveaways all day, or test your adventurous spirit with axe throwing, bounce house and velcro wall, mini golf, and a mechanical bull. All festival goers will be entered to win a five-foot tall, chainsaw carving of the American Bald Eagle perched on a tree stump, draped in an American flag.
And of course... Sasquatch has it marked on his calendar, too. Rumor has it he's making his grand appearance right alongside a spectacular, jaw-dropping fireworks show to close out the night. Get your tickets today at www.squatchfest.org!
