Tri-County Arts Council Launches Art Raffle Featuring Works by Mikel Wintermantel
Proceeds to support exhibitions and educational programs, with original paintings valued up to $1,200
OLEAN - The Tri-County Arts Council is pleased to announce a special art raffle featuring original paintings by acclaimed regional artist Mikel Wintermantel, C.M. Proceeds from the raffle will directly support exhibitions, educational programs, and initiatives that serve artists, students, and residents across the Tri-County region.
Raffle participants will have the opportunity to win one of Wintermantel’s original works valued at $1,000-$1,200. Chances start at $5 per chance, 6 for $25, 12 for $50, or 25 for $100. The raffle is now open and purchase is available online at www.tricountyartscouncil.org or in person at the Tri-County Arts Council located at 110 West State St., Olean. TCAC is open Wednesday through Friday from 10:00am-5:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am-4:00pm. Additionally, raffle tickets will be on sale at Beat City Music, with more locations being announced.
Mikel Wintermantel, C.M. is a respected illuminist painter whose works reflect a deep engagement with landscape, memory, and regional identity. His paintings are held in private collections and have been exhibited throughout the area and beyond. An Allegany resident and the Executive Director Emeritus of Tri-County Arts Council, Wintermantel has been instrumental in shaping local arts and culture for decades and is an avid volunteer and supporter of Tri-County Arts Council.
Tri-County Arts Council is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing arts and culture through exhibitions, education, and community programming. Tri-County Arts Council offers an Artisan Market for shopping, a state-of-the-art gallery space, a community studio for workshops, and a ceramics studio. Various art raffles will be held by the organization throughout 2026, including additional Wintermantel pieces, in an ongoing fundraising effort. The raffle drawing will be held March 7th.
