ELLICOTTVILLE - The 2025 Holiday Valley Pro Am golf tournament, held on August 4th at the challenging Double Black Diamond Golf Course, brought together golf enthusiasts and professionals for a day of competition and community support. This year’s event raised nearly $5,500 for the Ellicottville Library, continuing Holiday Valley’s proud tradition of giving back to the local community.

Since its inception in 2003, the Holiday Valley Pro-Am has raised an impressive $108,000 in total for the library, helping to fund educational programs, community events, and facility improvements.

The tournament featured 21 PGA professionals from across the region, who teamed up with amateur players for a day of spirited play on one of Western New York’s most challenging and picturesque courses. The Double Black Diamond Golf Course, known for its rolling terrain and stunning views, provided the perfect backdrop for the event. Blackstone Advanced Technologies, LLC and Weed Ross Agency were the Major Sponsors of the Pro-Am. Thirty-two other area businesses contributed as Tee & Green Sponsors, Tee Sponsors, and Gift Sponsors.

“We’re incredibly grateful to the players, sponsors, and volunteers who make this tournament possible year after year,” commented Ellicottville Library Director, Laura Flanagan. “The support we receive from the Holiday Valley Pro-Am helps us continue to serve our community in very meaningful ways.”

The winning professional was Rob Krajewski, from Glen Oak in Amherst, NY, with a score of -4 under (66). The winning team of the 2 Best Balls of 4 was the team of Kirk Stauffer (winning senior professional), Keith Stauffer, Patrick Rank, and Tom Marren with a -20 (120).

Plans are already underway for next year’s tournament scheduled for August 3, 2026 which promises to build on the success of this year’s event and continue the tradition of excellence both on and off the course.
