Vroom vroom! Do you have a sick ride you want to show off? It might be time to tug it out of the garage and give her a polish because Bradley’s Annual Car Show is almost here! Coming to the Cattaraugus Firemen’s Club on South Street in Cattaraugus, NY on Saturday, May 18th, Bradley’s Auto Detailing is proud to present its third year of this fun-filled event. Even if you have a “normal people” car, you can still participate by loading it up with the whole family and heading to Cattaraugus to check out the cars, munch some delicious food, and enjoy some family friendly festivities!

Bradley’s Auto Detailing is a locally owned business located on Tannery Road in Cattaraugus. Owner Molleigh Bradley has been in business for ten years now, and she proudly offers a variety of services at her shop. From detailing to auto repair, even dabbling into the realm of bodywork, Bradley’s has it down. “We do a little bit of everything,” she said.

Molleigh grew up polishing her father’s truck and started her business right after high school. She followed in her brother’s footsteps, “because pretty much everybody that’s a Bradley does bodywork,” Molleigh said. At first, Molleigh would find clientele in family and friends, but word eventually spread around the community. “Now, I’m busy every day!” she said.

In an effort to bring the community together, Bradley’s Car Show was launched in 2022. While it’s only been a couple of years, Molleigh’s focus remains on growing and expanding the event each spring.

This year, cars will be coming in from as far as Ohio to display in the show. If you have little ones interested in big trucks, Hunter Truck Peterbilt from Petersville, Ohio will be bringing in special show trucks that you won’t want to miss. “They don’t use these trucks for anything other than show, and they’ll be coming and welcoming guests to ask questions and learn more about them,” said Molleigh.

“I do it also to support local businesses,” Molleigh added. “It’s a time where they can come out and show their appreciation with sponsorships or show what they do. You’re gonna see a lot of mom-and-pop shops with their custom items as well.”

That’s right, the car show isn’t just about the cars. There will be tons of activities for families to see and do. Along with all the cars to view, live music is on the schedule and will feature country-rock band Wasted Whiskey. Kids will also love the ice cream stand and bounce castle. “We’re working on a couple of other things with the Fireman’s Club as well, so there will be lots for kids to run around keep busy,” said Molleigh.

Headlining the snack department will be local food truck, Pig-Out Place. One of their delicious hot dogs or beef on weck sandwiches will go great with a lemonade from the fresh-squeezed stand. For dessert, the Cattaraugus County Midget and Peewee football teams will be serving up some delicious ice cream sundaes to raise money for their upcoming season. If you arrive early, you can support the local Cattaraugus County Fire Department via their chicken barbecue, which starts at 11:00am.

The car show is certainly the main event, however. Those bringing a car should be eager for a chance to win the best-in-show cash prize of $500! This is made possible by several awesome local sponsors. “We have Town & Country Disposal, Stein Brothers Tire, and the Bank of Cattaraugus sponsoring,” said Molleigh. “Without them, we wouldn’t have half the show that we usually do.”

Add Bradley’s 3rd Annual Car Show to your calendar for Saturday, May 18th. The Cattaraugus Fire Department’s chicken barbecue fundraiser will kick off the day at 11:00am, the car show opens at 1:00pm, the band will start at 3:00pm, and awards will be announced around 4:00pm. There will also be an after-event with live music from 6:00-9:00pm. More details can be found on Bradley's 3rd Annual Car Show Facebook page.
