The beloved Gazebo Series kicks off July 17, setting the stage for Jazz & Blues Weekend just one week later.
There’s no better way to enjoy a summer evening in Ellicottville than with friends, music, and a relaxing spot on the grass. Starting this Thursday, July 17th at 7:00pm, the Gazebo Series returns to the Village Square for another season of live music and community fun.
Organized by the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce and held at the iconic gazebo located downtown, this free summer concert series invites residents and visitors alike to bring their lawn chairs, blankets, snacks, and beverages, and settle in for a night of great tunes and good company. Each week will feature a different performer or group, offering a variety of musical styles to enjoy under the open sky. Whether you’re looking to discover new talent or tap your toes to familiar favorites, the Gazebo Series offers something for everyone. The Tommy Z Band will kick off the 2025 line-up. This powerhouse blues-rock band based out of Buffalo, NY is fronted by electric guitarist, singer and radio host Tommy Z. With a career spanning decades, they've earned acclaim as a "blues treasure" and a WNY staple, garnering multiple regional awards, a spot in the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame, and Billboard-charting albums like Blizzard of Blues (#8, 2016) and Plug in and Play (#5, 2021). Renowned for soulful guitar-driven performances, The Tommy Z Band fuses traditional blues, jazz, funk and rock, delivering high-energy festival headlining sets, club gigs, and even USO tours overseas. They've shared stages with luminaries like B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Joe Bonamassa, and more.
