Embrace a Fresh New Look in 2026 with Ellicottville Interiors
Local design duo Caylin Moss and Holly Tirado bring fresh perspective, organization, and timeless style to Ellicottville homes.
A brand-new year is just a couple weeks away and NOW is a great time to think about how 2026 will look and feel! Even if New Year’s resolutions aren’t your style, the start of a fresh new year is the perfect opportunity to get more intentional about resetting, refreshing or organizing your space, and Ellicottville Interiors can help! Business partners and close friends Caylin Moss and Holly Tirado are the duo behind Ellicottville Interiors, and they’re looking forward to sharing their experience, know-how and fresh perspective, whether you have a tricky space, a new short-term rental, or a well-loved home in need of a refresh.
Moss and Tirado started their business approximately three months ago, though their friendship has much deeper roots. “Holly and I met because our sons are best friends,” Moss explained. “We ended up getting really close and talking about our hopes and dreams and aspirations. We both said how much we love interior decorating, designing, and organization.” Busy moms themselves, Moss and Tirado are quite familiar with the challenges of having children involved in multiple sports, not the least of which is all the “stuff” that comes with these activities. “We know what an active house - especially with the ski equipment and things like that around here - needs, so that’s kind of how we started. We put our heads together and said, ‘Hey, there’s a need for this in this town’,” said Moss.
Tirado explained that Ellicottville Interiors can help with a wide range of homeowner needs, from organization solutions to updating the look to making a place feel like home - whether it’s a client’s actual home or an Airbnb. Lately, Ellicottville Interiors has been helping their clients with refreshing and rejuvenating their homes, storage solutions, and outdoor seasonal decorating. “We do a ‘front step styling’,” Moss noted. “We can put up Christmas decorations or take Christmas decorations down. We can decorate for fall, spring, or summer to make it look inviting.”
With New Year’s fast approaching, get ahead and make an appointment with Ellicottville Interiors, whether you need assistance with Christmas decoration take-down or you want to create a refresh plan for the next season. Tirado said, “We do consultations and vision boards just to give ideas to the client, like a direction that they can go. Because when you as a homeowner see something, you don’t always see the bigger picture, but when you have two sets of eyes that have a little bit of know-how, that always helps!”
Importantly, Ellicottville Interiors focuses their work on the needs of the client’s home, whether it’s one or two rooms or the full house. “We want to give people spaces that they’re going to love forever,” Moss explained. “So we don’t really follow trends. We just follow more what the space needs…We want to have their home feel like a reflection of them, not just us.”
Both Moss and Tirado live in the community and know what makes Ellicottville such a special place - for those who call it “home” all year round or just for a season. Ellicottville Interiors works with local artists and businesses whenever possible to incorporate their décor and home goods. The client is always at the center of their work. Tirado said they want each client “to have a home that is a reflection or extension of your personal style and a space that really feels good to you. It’s your home at the end of the day, and we want everyone to feel good in it, even if it’s a second home.”
