Greater Olean Game Day Dinner Fundraiser Returns to Support Hospitality Scholarship

Football, food, and philanthropy collide at Napoli Pizza on Sept. 14 as the Greater Olean Hospitality Committee hosts its annual Game Day Dinner fundraiser.

OLEAN, NY - The Greater Olean Hospitality Committee invites the community to its highly anticipated Professional Chefs Game Day Dinner, a spirited fundraiser supporting the Greater Olean Area Hospitality Scholarship. This annual event celebrates the legacy of the local hospitality industry while investing in its future - one student at a time. Napoli Pizza will host this event once again on Sunday, September 14th from 12:00-5:00pm.

Born from the Taste of Olean’s Hospitality Wall of Fame, the committee has evolved from honoring past achievements to shaping tomorrow’s leaders. With the successful completion of the Greater Olean Hospitality Sculpture, the committee now focuses on endowing a scholarship for a local high school student pursuing a career in hospitality.

Event Highlights:

  • Buffalo Bills vs. NY Jets Game Day Viewing

  • Unlimited Game Day Food (through the 3rd quarter)

  • Two Drink Tickets per admission

  • Four Food Judge Tickets to vote for your favorite chef

  • Chance to Win Big Prizes: 1st Prize: $3,000 / 2nd Prize: 55" Flat Screen TV / 3rd Prize: $150

  • Best Dressed Fan Contest: Win a Napoli Pizza & 24 Wings

  • Early Bird Drawing: Add $5 for a chance to win a $50 bar tab (drawing at 12:45pm)

Local restaurants will donate ingredients, and professional chefs will prepare a feast judged by attendees. The chef with the most votes will be crowned Game Day Master Chef 2025, receiving a $100 prize, a Cutco knife, and their name engraved on the Hospitality Trophy.

Participating restaurants include: Toads Butcher Shop, Brothers Bistro, Green Acres, Moose’s Hardwood BBQ, Beef n Barrel, J-Allens, Napoli Restaurant, Rack n Rib Room, Grand Slam, Angee’s, Hometown Grill, Go-To-Meals, Clark’s Subs, Randy’s Fireside, Century Manor, Ann Marie’s Homemade Baklava, and The Wing - with more to be announced!

Tickets are $150 per ticket (admits two people). A limited of 100 tickets are available and can be purchased via cash or Venmo (@Susan-Marra-2, reference “Chefs Dinner”). All proceeds benefit the Greater Olean Area Hospitality Scholarship.

Last year’s event was a complete sellout, drawing 200 enthusiastic guests and showcasing the best of local culinary talent. The standout dish of the night - a Korean Pork Belly Taco created by Chris Clark of Clark’s Subs - won over attendees and earned him the title of Game Day Master Chef 2024. Clark’s inventive approach, blending Korean flavors with the boldness of pork belly, delighted the crowd and secured his place as last year’s top chef.

“This event is more than just great food and football - it’s about honoring the people who’ve built our hospitality community and helping the next generation carry that legacy forward,” said Joe and Susan Marra, co-organizers of the event. “We’re proud to see how much support this scholarship has gained, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another unforgettable Game Day.”

Join us for a day of food, football, and community spirit - where every bite supports a brighter future in hospitality. For more information, please call Joe at 716-244-1371 or text Susan at 716-244-8053.
