Griffis Sculpture Park Hosts Printmaking Workshops with Pisa Creative Workshops Aug. 11-12
Participants will create original linocut prints in a guided workshop surrounded by the natural beauty of Griffis Sculpture Park, with a portion of proceeds supporting the Ashford Hollow Foundation.
EAST OTTO - Griffis Sculpture Park and Pisa Creative Workshops will host two evenings of printmaking art classes on August 11-12, 2026 from 5:00-9:00pm. The classes will be held at the Griffis Sculpture Park Gate House, located at 6902 Mill Valley Road, East Otto, NY.
Pisa Creative Workshops, owned and operated by James Pisaturo, turns curiosity into confidence. They deliver engaging art experiences that spark imagination through the blending of art, design, and problem-solving in a fun, supportive space to explore and grow. Pisaturo brings 21+ years of art teaching experience.
The identical “Printing at The Park” workshops will happen on both Tuesday, August 11 and Wednesday, August 12. The workshops invite participants to create amid the flora and fauna of Griffis Sculpture Park. In this guided, no-experience-needed workshop, you are walked through the printmaking process from concept to completion. Learn the art of linocuts and carve your own 9” x 6“ Soft-Kut block to keep for future exploration. Produce up to 20 prints that reflect your unique perspective and style. Discover inspiration and leave with prints and confidence to continue creating.
Only ten spots are available and moving fast; This workshop is for guests 21+. Please feel free to bring your own beverage. 10% of the proceeds will go to the Ashford Hollow Foundation/Griffis Sculpture Park. Tickets for each workshop are $100 and can be purchased at www.pisacreativeworkshop.com.
