HillTAP Festival Returns to Holiday Valley July 25 with Live Music, Craft Beer & Mountain Fun
Driftwood headlines Holiday Valley's sixth annual HillTAP Festival featuring live music, scenic chairlift rides, craft beverages, mountain activities and an unforgettable summer day in Ellicottville.
HOLIDAY VALLEY - Holiday Valley's annual 42 North Brewing HillTAP Festival returns Saturday, July 25, bringing together live music, craft beverages, outdoor activities and scenic mountain views for a full day of summer entertainment.
Now in its sixth year, HillTAP has become one of Western New York's signature summer events, offering a festival experience unlike a traditional concert. The day begins with a scenic chairlift ride to Spruce Lake, where guests can relax by the water while enjoying live music in a picturesque mountain setting. Visitors are encouraged to bring a camp chair or picnic blanket and spend the afternoon listening to music before the festival moves to Tannenbaum Lodge for an evening of additional performances, food and festivities.
This year's lineup opens with Buffalo favorites Ed Croft & Tina Williams, who will perform at the Spruce Lake Cabin Stage from 1:00-4:00pm. Their blend of roots, blues, soul and country provides the soundtrack for a laid-back afternoon in the mountains.
Making their Western New York debut, Pressing Strings takes the Tannenbaum Stage from 4:00-5:30pm. The Annapolis, Maryland trio is known for its energetic mix of rock, blues, folk and Americana, with performances alongside artists including Gov't Mule, JJ Grey and Neil Francis.
Headlining the festival is Driftwood, one of New York's best-known Americana bands. Since 2005, the group has built a loyal following through heartfelt songwriting, accomplished musicianship and energetic live performances, making them a fitting finale to the day.
Beyond the music, HillTAP features craft beer from 42 North Brewing, hard cider from 1911, food from Fat Bob's BBQ and Dina's, axe throwing with Hatchets & Hops, mountain bike demos and outdoor vendors. Festival-goers can also enjoy the resort's scenic setting while exploring Holiday Valley's summer attractions. Those looking to extend their visit can take advantage of Holiday Valley lodging packages or RV camping, then spend time exploring Ellicottville's shops, restaurants, breweries and nightlife.
Whether you're planning a day trip or a weekend getaway, HillTAP offers a unique way to experience summer in Ellicottville. For tickets, lodging information and a complete event schedule, visit holidayvalley.com.
