Three days of culture, community, and fall celebration — Free admission for all!
SALAMANCA - The vibrant colors of autumn and the rich heritage of the Seneca Nation will once again take center stage as the Salamanca-Seneca Falling Leaves Festival returns Friday, October 3rd through Sunday, October 5th. This beloved annual celebration invites families, friends, and visitors from across the region to enjoy three days of cultural performances, community spirit, and seasonal fun - all with free admission. All events take place in Jefferson Street Park.
Highlights of the 2025 Festival include:
• Seneca Arts & Cultural Demonstrations -immerse yourself in traditional Seneca crafts, storytelling, and dance.
• Live Music & Entertainment - local and regional performers on stage daily.
• Petting Zoo & Family Fun - everyone’s favorite, both Saturday and Sunday.
• Kidz Blitz Show, Wrestling Show & More - action-packed special features.
• Carnival Rides & Inflatables - including bounce houses and mechanical bull.
• Food & Craft Vendors - from classic fair favorites to handmade artisan goods.
• Community Parade - ends the weekend’s celebrations.
“The Falling Leaves Festival is more than just a weekend of fun - it’s a chance for our community and visitors to come together in celebration of culture, history, and the natural beauty of this region,” said Mayor Sandra Mageria. “We’re proud to keep this event free and accessible to everyone, year after year.”
The weekend will also feature a youth archery contest, the Ratchet Hatchet wagon, and live pumpkin carving by Eric Jones, Guinness World Record Holder for carving the World’s Largest Jack-o’-lantern and winner of Food Network’s Outrageous Pumpkins Season 3.
