Suzy’s Star Readings: August Lunar Eclipse and What It Means for Your Zodiac Sign

Greetings, friends! Our perceptions are changing into higher levels of awareness of the unseen. We are becoming way more telepathic: seeing, feeling, knowing, or even dreaming about things in our lives that we can’t physically see, are there to help guide us, or warn us.

August 12 brought a total solar eclipse in Leo, launching the next 18-month cycle and igniting the two opposing houses in our charts that Leo and Aquarius occupy. August 28th, however, brings closure to the previous 18-month cycle while the lunar nodes of fate were in Pisces and Virgo.

This lunar eclipse on August 28th is at almost 6 degrees of Pisces. We are in between them right now and may have received some insight on a new page turning in our lives; something boldly wanting to enter our lives, but to receive it we must release something.

After August 28th (provided we agreed and allowed closure to occur), more synchronicities will guide us on our next steps to become better versions of ourselves. ARIES RISING OR SUN SIGN: What’s wanting to come in for you is opportunity that has to do with your talent, your ability to lead, motivate or recruit, and if you’re up for it, new love and romance! You’re on the verge of being able to implement a fantastic idea. There may have been some loss over the past 18 months; allow yourself to more fully integrate at this time. You’re somehow better fitted to do the thing now. The end of this month gives you the green light about trusting your intuition - even noting some information obtained in dream over the last 18 months now playing out. Live in a more fun, creative way. You’re ready to rock and roll.

TAURUS RISING OR SUN SIGN: What’s coming in has to do with family, real estate, personal growth, or new beginnings around where you call home and who you call family, while you need to release some friends, an old job/co-workers, and/or former acquaintances, in order to more clearly start test driving your really big goals. You can’t build on an existing house; you have to raze it and then build. Some people or circumstances are ending now. Allow this to happen with grace.

GEMINI RISING OR SUN SIGN: New innovations are coming in for you, inviting you to update your skills, take a class, or connect with neighbors, upgrade your technology, and to ‘get with the program.’ Things are starting to speed up for you, and anything big-box or corporate is NOT the way to go. Small, manageable steps, small bits of information that you can easily process is needed to feel your own progress. What you begin now can easily grow legs of its own if you keep it manageable.

CANCER RISING OR SUN SIGN: Time to embody stronger self-worth and self-esteem! Opportunity knocks on your income house. Ask for that raise! You’ve got to release outdated philosophies and beliefs, or wanting to accomplish something for the sole purpose of proving others wrong. Adjust your sails and double check to be sure the direction you’re going is one of your own choosing. Getting deep within yourself is necessary so you can cleanse away inherited beliefs and incorporate your own.

LEO RISING OR SUN SIGN: Bring in a bolder, more courageous version of yourself that remains modest. Adjust how you show up in your world to align with what is most important to you over the next year and a half. Release where you feel others wanted to convict you or push you over the edge. It’s not about them anyway. Something is transforming - allow for it. The caterpillar must completely surrender to re-emerge as a gentle butterfly. You can’t see what’s ahead; stay in touch with your guides to help you.

VIRGO RISING OR SUN SIGN: What needs to come in is leaning into your intuition and your dreams. There are new insights ready for you to tap into and explore. You have been purified over the past year and a half; now it’s time to discard any remaining co-dependency traits and consciously release any bindings from former partnerships with grace - they brought you to where you are today. Release all emotions that are of a low vibration and embrace the kind, loving energy that you are.

LIBRA RISING OR SUN SIGN: Key people can show up with a message, a single sentence that totally inspires you in a new way. How you work, how you serve others is wanting to change for the better. What you do on a daily basis creates your quality of life. Be sure you follow up on any health concerns and reroute any negativity. New, true friends and big opportunities to support big goals can now appear.

SCORPIO RISING OR SUN SIGN: Something new is brewing in your public life/career, but you must release something there as well. You can’t do it all, and do it all well. Delegate. It’s a significant time of opportunity to strike while the iron is hot. Release any energy tied to old flames or being ‘always a bride’s maid but never a bride,’ and rather focus on home and family matters, or consolidating career and home to a work-from-home hybrid model.

SAGITTARIUS RISING OR SUN SIGN: This is your time to connect to those who align with your truth. Learn from them. Release attachments to leaders, mentors, religious figures or teachers who disappointed you, and simplify your expectation. Allow new ones to come into your life but don’t turn over your power to them. Release negative ties to family practices that you don’t align with anymore, especially religious or spiritual traditions.

CAPRICORN RISING OR SUN SIGN: Release any guilt or shame over the skeletons in your closet; there’s no room for them as you are becoming someone far greater. Learn from your mistakes and teach others. Through honesty and transparency (which is not a Capricorn strength), you will attract amazing people who resonate and want to learn from you, increasing your bottom line. You are going through big changes, but if you are open and honest, will feel like a rising Phoenix.

AQUARIUS RISING OR SUN SIGN: Release illusions tied to money and ground yourself better to increase your income. No more relying on dreams alone; show up as your best on the daily. Your ideas are ripening - stick to brass tacks. Lean in where you have expertise. Being that you’re not really a people person, you’ll need to bring in shiny, happy people to help you publicize, promote, and bring in the audience for what you are offering.

PISCES RISING OR SUN SIGN: You are shedding away the confusion around who you are and who is there for you, which has changed dramatically over the last year and a half. It’s okay to release former versions of yourself; you didn’t know what you didn’t know.
