Suzy’s Star Readings: Full Moon, Mercury Retrograde and Major Cosmic Shifts Arrive This Summer

Hello friends and welcome to summer! Chiron, also known as the wounded healer, has just changed signs out of Aries and into Taurus. Chiron in our individual charts represents our rejection wound. For the past 8 years in Aries, that has reflected on our right to exist. Now in Taurus it has to do with self-expression, values, the right to earn a fair wage, the subject of body image, and our relationship with food and money.

We have a nice full moon Monday, June 29th in the sign of Capricorn, which is about adding structure to our day. Funny how at a time that a regimented school schedule completes for the year, that we have this full moon asking us to be mature and use our knowledge wisely and strategically, and still maintain a sense of structure and regiment in our day.

Not only that, but the same day, the trickster planet Mercury will be going retrograde for three weeks in the sign of Cancer, backing away from Jupiter who will be on a crisis degree this day. Jupiter is completing his sojourn through the sign of his exaltation, Cancer, and will be moving through Leo for the next year commencing on the 30th.

Capricorn and Cancer are cardinal signs that oppose one another in astrology, standing as far away from one another on a circle as they can get. These signs represent our parents (Capricorn = patriarch, Cancer = matriarch), family, home matters, and both providing and nurturing. It also highlights our work/home balance.

Warrior energy Mars will have just walked into the sign of communication, Gemini, and making a conjunction to electric and unpredictable Uranus. This can catapult explosions of all sorts - arguments going out of control, nuclear incidents, fireworks, accidents, and even rage incidents including shootings. I expect chaos at airports, in the air, power grids, and lines of communication. This could be an important day of disclosure.

The Nodes of Fate are winding down their 18-month stay on the health axis of Pisces/Virgo and are preparing to enter Aquarius/Leo in late July - more on that next month. Can you feel the tides shifting of what we thought was true on world stages?

This is not a time to make significant purchases of anything needing a key - a house, a computer, or a car as examples. It does not mean we stop living and halt communicating. Rather, we need to double check our plans, flight times, schedules, make sure we hit ‘send’ on important emails or texts so it’s not left in our drafts; and that we are communicating intentionally and clearly. Plans may suddenly change and the need to be flexible and adaptable may be necessary.

It is a nice time for family get-togethers, appreciating the comfort and safety of home with people we consider as family, where we can feel nurtured and we can also nurture others. ARIES/ARIES RISING: The full moon illuminates your 10th house of career and public life; you may get an uptick in your career, or you may decide you’re ready for a career shift. Ensure your vehicle is in good repair and exercise patience with others as everybody is somebody and goes through tough times. Let your opinions be known but don’t step on others’ toes.

TAURUS/TAURUS RISING: Chiron is now in your sign, and with all the other conversations in the sky, it’s your time to rise and be seen, be counted, and to feel safe in your own skin. The full moon is in your house of purpose and good fortune, gently saying to spread your wings. You may encounter a mentor, teacher or advisor or even a foreign person who says or does something that completely changes your philosophy for the better.

GEMINI/GEMINI RISING: A wonderful time for spreading your seeds! Socialize, meet people, network and share information with people who may be able to give you the magical connection that changes everything. The full moon is a deep one for you, bringing up the deeper meaning of life, opportunity for wealth, cashing in, inheritance, grants, or income from clients. Pay attention, lean into your intuition, and look long and hard before speaking as your gut intuition needs to be your strongest influence now.

CANCER/CANCER RISING: Around the 29th can feel a little overwhelming and conflicts may arise. There may be shocking realizations or information coming in through your dreams. The full moon is lighting up energy to do with your partner, partnerships, clients or customers. Are you trying too hard to parent someone who doesn’t want that type of guidance? Others may lay down firm boundaries - use maturity to help you not take this personally. Everyone needs to grow, and no one can grow in the shade.

LEO/LEO RISING: You may be questioning if you’ve hit your career ceiling as the income factor may have plateaued. Lean into teachers, guides, mentors or healers to help you spring back in a brighter light as Jupiter is about to enter your sign while the south node will be sweeping through your sign. This suggested, shed away any inflated ego matters, refine yourself and drop keeping score. It’s your time to now rise up and lead in only a way that you know how!

VIRGO/VIRGO RISING: The past 17 months have been shaking you up and helping you to realize your own worth. There may have been more than one relationship that dissolved away or changed dynamic. If you released it willingly, this will be much safer and easier vs. clutching on to something that needs to go or end. The full moon is asking you to turn your hobby into a business, bring your talents to the marketplace - it is time! You will have synchronistic connections during this time so be sure you are putting yourself out there!

LIBRA/LIBRA RISING: A significant time for your career, launch, or promotion is indicated. It’s possible it could be delayed several weeks, but it’s coming. In coming months, your networks and popularity grows. Be patient enough to listen to those who have more lived experience than you; you can always learn something new from people. The full moon is asking you to be more disciplined and organized at home.

SCORPIO/SCORPIO RISING: There may be a delay in getting something published or advertised; be sure to stay on top of your voicemail and email. There is a wonderful energy ready to rise for you, gaining recognition and advancing your credibility. The full moon asks you to get clear on, and write down your goals, and get serious about plans and budgets to help you manage life in a more supportive way. If you fail to plan, you can plan to fail. Write it down.

SAGITTARIUS/SAGITTARIUS RISING: Deeper truths, even secrets, will likely surface with the full moon, helping you to know who is trustworthy and who is not. The full moon suggests to buckle down on your spending habits, create a budget, and work to adhere to it. If you succeed, the universe can increase resources and cash flow. There can be conflict with partners out of left field. Let yourself be a sounding board; everyone does not always need the lecture.

CAPRICORN/CAPRICORN RISING: New self-awarenesses are exactly what you need, helping you to level up in how you show up in the world. You’re getting into a new phase in your life that wants you to have more, so you can do more. After all you are the master of resourcefulness. It’s a splendid time to get active, like with the gym, or exercise, to increase your vitality. This will improve your overall wellbeing and others will take note!

AQUARIUS/AQUARIUS RISING: Dreams are important, pay attention. You may experience an epiphany or be suddenly inspired to launch a new idea. Over coming weeks, new partnerships will rise to meet you. Be sure to stay hydrated, and caring about the contributions of others; no one person is an island. We need other people to build personal success. If you’ve been feeling a bit blue or sluggish, this will pass in coming days.

PISCES/PISCES RISING: The full moon is showing you who belongs in your group of friends and who does not. It’s a time of maturing, releasing former versions of yourself and people you hung out with when you were that former version of yourself. Now is a time for leadership, seriousness, while budgeting enough time for family. You can expect a huge creative spark any day now that can increase your earnings potential big time!
