Suzy’s Star Readings: Rare Jupiter-Venus Alignment Signals Growth, Opportunity, and New Beginnings

Hello friends! How wonderful to finally feel lots of sunshine and get our gardens going!

This week brings bountiful blessings as the two benefics in astrology, Jupiter and Venus, unite! In traditional astrology, benefics are planets associated with abundance, harmony and opportunity. Jolly and jovial Jupiter will be holding hands with beautiful and creative Venus in the energy of Cancer, where Jupiter happens to be exalted; that is, where he is a VIP and has the most power. There is still some tension in the sky between Saturn and Mercury, so choose words with intention and avoid “buttering people up.”

You can easily see them in the western evening sky, the two brightest points coming together, with Venus being the brighter of the two.

At week’s end, disruptive and unpredictable Uranus will be squaring (conflict and tension) the moon’s nodes of fate. This is not a common occurrence and will shake things up in both the world stage and on a personal level.

We have a nice new super moon late on the 14th in Gemini, giving an extra boost to new beginnings and ideals.

For the collective, since last January, we have needed to learn how to stop ridiculing ourselves, stop with being too much of a perfectionist, get out of analysis paralysis, disciplining ourselves to temper information overload, how to come to terms and steer our lives when ridden with anxiety, and easing judgmentalism and criticism of self and others. Also this period since last January has brought health and wellness matters, including healthcare workers and the industry to the center stage.

We need to move forward by reaching for the flavor of Pisces – a true letting go of what felt safe, leaning into faith and trusting what is to come. It is the need to learn what our nervous system needs to feel soothed, and how to be creative and appreciative of our colorful world. It is taking excellent care of our body, our immune system through nervous system regulation and self-awareness of old, outdated patterns wired into our behavior. It is acceptance of all people as part of the human family. It is also about compassion and spirituality.

The nodes of fate will be changing signs July 26 of this year, from Pisces/Virgo to Aquarius/Leo.

We need to align with the energies to get the most out of them. This is blowing open an axis of two opposite energies in our individual charts and that, along with the new moon is what this week’s column will be focusing on. Check your rising sign first, then your sun sign.

Aries sun/Aries rising: Get ready, your dreams of the past year and a half are finally getting their chance to be made public in later July and that window will be open for 18 months. Prepare for new friends, colleagues, and plenty of synchronicity. The Uranus square we are headed into will show you who is meant to be with you and who isn’t. Be sure you prepare before exercise or strenuous work, wear safety gear if doing anything dangerous as you may be more prone to accidents. Taurus sun/Taurus rising: For the first time in about 8 years, you can finally breathe and focus on the life that YOU want for yourself! The blessings this week are great for you, and the Uranus square is helping you shake off what is outdated. It might happen as a shock, a comment from a colleague or friend that really opens your eyes. The new moon helps you value yourself more, or ask for a raise.

Gemini sun/Gemini rising: You’ve needed to do some self-revision to break away from outdated patterns and Uranus is blasting you with its future vision to help guide you. Who is it you are becoming? Big new opportunities are on deck for you this summer, use your higher mind and intuition, and then blend it with your logic. It’s your new moon, the launch of your new lunar year! Be inspired and open! Big positive changes for you!

Cancer sun/Cancer rising: You may have been sorting through health matters or worries that have now run their course. There’s no room for these concerns in your future.
