Bob McCarthy Foundation Increases Support for Domestic Violence Services

The Bob McCarthy Foundation increased its annual support by 50% for Connecting Communities in Action’s Victim Services Department, helping provide critical resources, advocacy and safe services for victims of domestic violence and other crimes.

ELLICOTTVILLE - The Bob McCarthy Foundation continues their annual funding of critical programs supporting the community. They recently presented a donation check to Connecting Communities in Action’s Victim Services Department, which provides comprehensive support and advocacy for victims of crime, with a particular focus on those impacted by domestic violence. With a 24-hour hotline, they provide emergency safe dwelling licensed by NY State for domestic violence victims and their children. This service creates an aura of safety while building skills and self-esteem to ensure recovery for the entire family.

In addition, the victim services group also operates a Rape Crisis Program, Crime Victim Program, Therapy Services, along with a Prevention Education Program. For more information on these and other services from CCA visit www.ccaction.org

In 2026 The Foundation has increased their support by 50% due to the increased need of this critical service. It is through the generosity of our community supporting the Bob McCarthy Foundation that allows the foundation to fund and endorse programs like this.
