PSIA National Team member Elle Matalavage to lead two-day skills-focused camp for intermediate and advanced women skiers late February
ELLICOTTVILLE - Holiday Valley Snowsports has a long tradition of offering an informative, valuable, and enjoyable clinic for intermediate and advanced women skiers. This February 24-25th, Elle Matalavage will be running a clinic to help advance participants to the next level of their skiing skills. Elle will use her vast technical and teaching experience that she has gained as a member of the PSIA National Team. The PSIA National Team is made up of the top ski instructors from across the country. These professionals are some of the best skiers in the industry, and they are inspirational educators. Assisting in the clinic are Holiday Valley Snowsports’ top women instructors.
Lessons will cover achieving a balanced stance, improving your carving skills, the mental aspects of skiing, and adapting to varying terrain and snow conditions. Video analysis of students’ turns will help them understand how they can improve. Mud, Sweat n’ Gears will supply a full range of women’s demo skis. The clinic includes breakfast and lunch on both days, as well as an après ski party at Mud, Sweat n’ Gear with wine, hors d’oeuvres, and of course, shopping!
Cost of the clinic is $295. Specially priced lift tickets and lodging rates are available to clinic participants.
