EDDY Mobile CT Unit for Lung Cancer Screening Returns to Holiday Valley Nov. 11–12

The specialized mobile unit makes early lung cancer detection more accessible, with screenings available by appointment through Roswell Park.

ELLICOTTVILLE - The EDDY Mobile CT unit for lung cancer screening will return to Holiday Valley November 11-12th, providing an important opportunity for early detection of lung cancer. The mobile screening unit, housed in a specialized bus, offers convenient access to this potentially life-saving service.

The program is designed for individuals aged 50–79 who have a significant history of smoking - approximately 20 years of heavy smoking (such as a pack a day for 20 years, or half a pack a day for 40 years) - and who have smoked within the last 15 years. Those unsure about their smoking history can contact Roswell Park to determine eligibility.
