Ellicottville Rock N’ Roll Weekend Returns Sept. 12–14 with Live Music, Classic Cars & Elvis Tribute

Rock N’ Roll Weekend brings live music, vintage cars, and an Elvis tribute to downtown Ellicottville, followed by the Lacrosse Festival September 20–21.

The streets of Ellicottville will come alive this month as Rock N’ Roll Weekend makes its much-anticipated return. From September 12-14th, the village will be buzzing with the sights and sounds of live music and cool, classic cars.

Over a dozen live performances are scheduled throughout Ellicottville’s walkable downtown in all of the hot spots. Festival-goers can catch their favorite bands, wander from venue to venue, and soak in the lively small-town atmosphere.

The centerpiece of the weekend, however, arrives Sunday with the Classic Car Show. Over 200 polished rides - from vintage Corvettes and Cadillacs to Mustangs and more - will line the village streets. Car enthusiasts can admire the craftsmanship, swap stories with proud owners, and enjoy judged competitions that award trophies and bragging rights. To top it off, Terry Buchwald will bring his crowd-pleasing Elvis Tribute Show to the Village Gazebo at 1:30pm, adding an extra dose of rock n’ roll nostalgia.

“Rock N’ Roll Weekend has truly become one of Ellicottville’s signature festivals,” said Barb Pump, Executive Director of the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce, which produces the event each year. “It’s so easy to explore - grab some food, listen to great music, and take in the cars, all within a few blocks. The energy is incredible, and there’s something here for everyone.”

The action doesn’t end when the last guitar riff fades. The following weekend, September 20th-21st, the focus shifts to the fields for the Ellicottville Lacrosse Festival, hosted by Powell Lacrosse and Summit Lacrosse Ventures in partnership with the Chamber. Now in its seventh year, the tournament welcomes players of all ages across six divisions, creating a weekend of spirited competition and camaraderie at Ellicottville’s Village Park and the Chamber Fields at Holiday Valley.

Ryan Powell, Syracuse lacrosse great and co-founder of Powell Lacrosse, says it’s about more than just the game. “Lacrosse festivals shaped my life growing up. They’re about building friendships, teamwork, and confidence, as much as skills on the field,” he said. “We love bringing that experience to Ellicottville.”

Whether you’re a fan of fast cars, live music, or competitive lacrosse, September in Ellicottville promises back-to-back weekends of unforgettable experiences. For schedules, lodging details, and more, visit ellicottvilleny.com or call 800-349-9099.
