HoliMont Hosts Ditch Daze and Twilight Skiing to Celebrate Spring Ski Season
From a high-energy halfpipe competition to extended evening skiing, HoliMont offers multiple ways to enjoy late-season conditions.
Spring is in full swing at HoliMont, bringing two exciting ways to make the most of late-season turns. This Sunday, March 22nd, HoliMont Parks will host is 4th Annual Ditch Daze, an old-school, hand-cut halfpipe event on Snowbird celebrating style, creativity, and big air. Open to both skiers and snowboarders, the jam-style format focuses on overall impression and standout tricks, with specialty awards including Best Method, Best Invert, Highest Air, Pete’s Pick Best Vintage Deck, Standout Grom Boy, and Standout Grom Girl. All participants will receive a free poutine voucher from Dina’s at the Mont (valid the day of the event only). Registration and additional details can be found at holimont.com/events.
The fun continues with Twilight Skiing on the final three Tuesdays of the season - March 24, March 31, and April 7. Enjoy extended hours on Expo lift with access from Gully to Goatpath until 7:00pm with a regular ticket, or grab a $30 Twilight pass starting at 3:00pm. Bonus: Every valid ticket or pass includes a complimentary taco from Dina’s, served from 4:00-6:00pm.
