New Summer Vibe: The Lincoln Motel x Pour Taproom in Ellicottville

From self-pour beer walls to smash burgers and room deals, this pairing is putting a new twist on Ellicottville hospitality.

Looking for the perfect pairing this summer? Head to 6089 Route 219, Ellicottville, where The Lincoln Boutique Motel and Pour Taproom are serving up more than just a place to stay - they’re offering an experience. Located right across the street from Holiday Valley’s golf greens, this comfortable, welcoming motel has teamed up with Pour Taproom to create a go-to destination for craft beverage lovers, foodies, and weekend wanderers alike. With 30 self-pour taps, a full-service bar, a delicious summer menu and special events, this dynamic duo is quickly becoming the toast of Ellicottville.

This summer marks the first full season for The Lincoln and Pour Taproom as partners - and they’re making it count. The Lincoln, with its iconic penny-colored roof, is probably familiar to locals and longtime Ellicottville visitors, who may remember its past life as the Telemark Motel, once home to the beloved bar/restaurant Cadillac Jack’s, where members of The Lincoln’s team worked for many years. Now under new ownership, this spot is back in a big way, with great food and drink, room specials, and more.

Dawn (Barczak) Hogan of Route Two Nineteen LLC is pleased to share a special promotion all summer for golfers! Book directly with the motel at www.thelincolnevl.com and use promo code “GOLFER” for a buy-one-night, get-one-free deal any night of the week or weekend, excluding holidays. “When they book that, we’re going to give them a free pint at Pour Taproom,” Hogan added. A refreshing pairing within walking distance of the course!

Speaking of pairings, Matt Prime, one of the owners of Pour Taproom, is looking forward to a special summer event. “We are planning a pig roast for the summer,” he said. “Out in the parking lot, hopefully with some live music playing - a barbecue-like atmosphere.” Follow The Lincoln Boutique Motel on social media to find out when the pig roast is taking place.

Pour Taproom at The Lincoln is Ellicottville’s first and only self-pour tap room! “The concept is new to town,” Prime explained of Pour, which started in Buffalo and is now closer to the owners’ Springville roots. Upon arriving, “tap-in” at the counter to start a tab and get your red Pour wristband, which you can swipe at any one of the 30 different beer and cider taps on the draft wall. Prime said, “You pour the beers yourself and pay by the ounce, so it’s kind of like a beer fest. You can pour a half a glass, a full glass, and some people come in and start mixing things together to make their own concoction!”

This interactive experience fosters a lot of conversation and community, Prime noted, as it gets people moving around and mingling. Pour Taproom also has a full-service cocktail bar with a new summer menu. If you’re coming in off the greens or the mountain biking trails with an appetite, Pour has got you covered. The ever-popular smash burgers, wings, and beef on weck will certainly satisfy, along with some lighter summer options, like Boom Boom shrimp tacos.

Hogan and Prime encourage people to check The Lincoln’s social media for monthly special events and promotions. “We did a sourdough baking class with Ellicottville Bake Shop, and we’ve done a couple of do-it-yourself bouquet nights, so people bring in their own flowers and everyone mixes and matches everybody’s flowers together and makes their own bouquet,” said Prime. Enjoy weekly events, too, like Wednesday night trivia, which Pour pairs with wing night for a fun, family-friendly evening. Pour Taproom offers catering services by Jody Maynard for both on-site and off-site events. Whether you’re planning some summer fun or looking ahead to a bachelor/bachelorette party or wedding, Hogan recommends reaching out about The Lincoln’s group rates. Book the entire motel for a 20% discount and consider Pour Taproom for a rehearsal dinner, next-day breakfast, and more. “The space is large enough that it’s very family friendly,” said Hogan. “We technically have 38 beds here, if you include the apartment over the restaurant, the apartment in the A-frame, and the 12 motel rooms!” For more information, email thelincolnevl@gmail.com or call 716-699-1002.
