Outdoor Petting Zoo at the Ellicottville Memorial Library
The Ellicottville Memorial Library invites families to a free petting zoo experience on July 15, along with fun activities and sign-ups for the “Color Our World” Summer Reading Program.
ELLICOTTVILLE - The Ellicottville Memorial Library is excited to welcome Mike Morton from Sun-Dance-Kids Farm and his collection of animals for kids of all ages to pet and enjoy. He will be outside the library near the parking lot from 1:00-3:00pm on Tuesday, July 15th for this free, fun-filled event. Stop by and say hi to his friendly critters.
While you’re here, it’s not too late to sign your child up for our Summer Reading Program. Kids can enjoy free programs with fun activities, storytelling, workshops, reading contests, crafts, and much more! The theme for this year’s Summer Reading Program is “Color Our World”. This program not only helps motivate children to read, but it encourages positive attitudes about reading and books. It also helps children maintain their reading skills over summer vacation and inspires regular use of the library. Special thanks to the Bob McCarthy Foundation and the Elisa B. Hughey Foundation for the Arts for providing some of the funding for this important program.
