September 2025 Astrology Forecast: Eclipses, Retrogrades & Cosmic Shifts
From powerful eclipses to retrograde Saturn and Uranus, September 2025 is full of cosmic energy. Find out how each zodiac sign can navigate endings, new beginnings, and life-changing opportunities.
It is a busy and complex month for sure. Eclipses bring up life-changing events, this time activating the Virgo/Pisces axis of your personal chart. Themes in the headlines can involve healthcare disclosures, reveals, but also security breaches. Upsets, shocks, outages, issues around planes, satellites and aerospace, cosmic activity, space discoveries, new technology, inventions and innovation, sudden solutions to world challenges such as free energy, freedom, personal rights, gender equality as well (because of Pluto in Aquarius and Mercury squaring Uranus on the 3rd will spike media hype, digital currency and market/trade volatility). I can also imagine that communication from off-planet locations happens in an indisputable way.
Right on the 1st, retrograding Saturn retreats back into Pisces. You have a chance to see what you missed a few months back, and do the final cleanup. It might be a reality check about your dreams to see if that’s what you really want, or was it to please or impress another?
The planet of the unexpected, upheaval and rebellion, Uranus, is stationing retrograde on the 5th. Expect more seismic activity and potentially increased power and communication outages. Certain bridges can buckle; it’s not advisable to be in the air the day before and after as this also impacts planes and aerospace, satellites and technology.
On the 7th we have an unusually long full moon total lunar eclipse, happening at 18 degrees Pisces with the sun at 18 Virgo. See where this falls in your chart. This axis will be awakened, something will be taken away or come to a finality, an ending or a close, so that you can new realizations. Thank whatever this is for the experience and allow it to go. Important people to us may exit, we may end up suddenly moving… it can show up in many ways.
Then on the 21st we have the second eclipse, a partial solar eclipse at 29 of Virgo with the new moon; the second new moon in Virgo. Being on the 29th degree brings a sense of urgency to accept what needed to end and get started on something new, bright and more tightly aligned to our own true dreams and desires. Purge, clean, harvest, start new health routines to become more refined, leaner, cleaner, more organic. Avoid being overly judgmental and perfectionism. Let’s not forget, we are in human form, with the power of the universe offering us a cornucopia of options! Choose what feels right. Avoid overworking and not caring for yourself, or this month you are highly likely to suffer burnout.

FIRE SIGNS
Aries: Pay very close attention to your dreams, you’re being nudged! There could be layoffs or ending of a job. Pressure comes off for a few months, so take advantage of this time to decompress, rest, and consider how you want to make your comeback in the spring. (Aries season, you’ll be lit!)
Leo: Your income axis is being lit up. There may be a boost, loss or a redirect in your income, expenditures or even an inheritance. You may get family heirlooms, a loan, or real estate may go through, or paid back when you already wrote off the person you loaned out to! Good opportunity to manage other resources.
Sagittarius: You may get a ‘win’ for your home, an addition or change to the family. Move, expand or attract more at home to feel safe and cozy there. Cleaning house is a great thing now. It’s not a time to be boasting at the company meeting, but rather to listen and keep your cards close to the chest.
AIR SIGNS
Gemini: This rocks your home and career areas of the chart. There may be a move yourself, or someone moves in or out, changes with the structure of your living circumstance or your physical home, and/or jumps in career or your public life. You might land the career job of your dreams.
Libra: Focus on your health and what you do on the daily. A new job can land. It’s time to stop worrying about being there for everyone else, especially noticing how it is not reciprocated. This is your time to focus on health matters and putting in the work. Martyrdom won’t pay the bills.
Aquarius: This can land a deal for a sudden increase in assets or income. Karma is biting whomever stung you so don’t worry - let it go. Settlements can happen bittersweet as they may be; this is your time to really shine and get paid for what you contribute.
EARTH SIGNS
Taurus: Group dynamics are changing, helping to align you with your big visions and goals. You may need to figure out what makes you really sparkle, stand in your strengths and best qualities so the others can recognize what you bring to the table.
Virgo: A good time to invest in partnerships, relationships, to acknowledge you can cover a lot more ground as a team. You might not be feeling your best as your world is changing from the inside out, and as an earth sign, it’s not comfortable. Let yourself lean in to others for support and you may be pleasantly surprised at the new ways people support you.
Capricorn: An excellent time for selling an idea and for commerce. Smaller sales now lead to bigger successes later. Release old bigger picture ideals or overpowering authority figures’ influence over you and pay attention to the details. It will pay off later.
WATER SIGNS
Cancer: Time for traveling (but not during the eclipses), or taking a course to uplevel your knowledge, work with a mentor, or begin to teach based on what you’ve learned in your life. It’s less about the small details at this point and more about the bigger picture.
Scorpio: An excellent time to sparkle with creative endeavors, self-employment and showing what makes you who you are. Friends or those at the table are shifting; it’s okay because it’s making room to bring you to the next level. Huge time for self-expression.
Pisces: It’s time to relaunch as you are, not as you wish you were. Ground your new reality bringing your creative vision to the world! Release debris around failed relationships on all planes, clear yourself of any remaining people pleasing and boosting everyone else’s morale; really focus on what makes you feel alive, and do more of that.
