Pizza Sale Supports SPCA Mission

The SPCA in Cattaraugus County is rallying community support with a fundraiser designed to raise essential operating funds. With easy ordering and pickup options, the effort offers a simple way for residents to give back while helping provide care and shelter for animals in need.

OLEAN - The SPCA in Cattaraugus County is inviting area residents to support local animal welfare efforts through its upcoming pizza fundraiser, an event aimed at raising critical operating funds while bringing the community together.

The SPCA Pizza Sale features 12-inch pizzas priced at $12 each, available in plain cheese or cheese and pepperoni varieties. Pizzas are prepared ready for either immediate baking or freezer storage, offering a convenient meal option while supporting the shelter’s mission.

Community members may participate in two ways, by helping sell pizzas or by purchasing them directly.

Those interested in selling pizzas may stop by the shelter to pick up an order sheet or request one by calling the SPCA at 716-72-8492 or emailing the shelter at info@spcacattco.org with a contact email address to receive materials electronically.

Residents wishing to purchase pizzas may stop by the shelter to place and pay for their order in advance. Orders may also be placed by phone at 716-372-8492 with payment made by credit card. All pizzas will be picked up at the Pulaski Club on April 19th between 11:00am and 2:00pm.

All completed sales sheets, along with collected cash and checks, must be submitted by April 13th. Checks should be made payable to the SPCA in Cattaraugus County and returned with sales materials to the shelter at 2944 Route 16 North in Olean.

Fundraisers such as the pizza sale play a vital role in sustaining the organization’s operations. Donations and fundraising efforts account for more than 70 percent of the shelter’s annual income, underscoring the importance of community participation.

Founded in 1905, the SPCA in Cattaraugus County is a private, nonprofit animal shelter dedicated to saving the lives of animals and providing adoption services for homeless and neglected pets. As the largest animal shelter in New York’s Southern Tier, the organization continues its mission of rescuing stray, abandoned, and neglected animals while working to improve their quality of life.

Community members are encouraged to participate in the fundraiser and help ensure continued care for animals throughout the region.
