Suzy’s Star Readings: Winter Solstice, New Moon & the Cosmic Call Toward Unity

A reflective look at solstice energy, intention-setting, and aligning with the heart during the final weeks of the year.

Hello fellow star gazers! How have you been feeling? What a week we have ahead! On the 19th, the famous 3i Atlas comet, accompanied by other fragments of space matter and an extremely bright and intelligent frequency, will be at its closest point to Earth in its journey through our galaxy. Many unrelated people have tapped into the energy of Atlas and reported all positive traits: loving, peaceful, blissful, serene. For me, I feel a beaming neon green energy which represents the higher heart, the thymus. This is the point of all our hearts’ connections via a web of light; a cosmic heart if you will.

Atlas will be at its nearest to us in just a number of hours before the world clock strikes at the solstice point. The December 21st solstice marks the shortest day and longest night, becoming winter in the northern hemisphere and spring in the southern hemisphere. It is zero degrees Capricorn. The 0 degree of cardinal signs are world axis points. When the sun crosses through, it always brings global shifts and events. The other cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, and Libra. This combination promises to bring deeper enlightenment, new hope, brighter, higher heart energy, and more of a sense of whole unity and common purpose. One unified heart looking in one, forward, hopeful direction.

What is the most common hope, wish, or desire for all humankind? Let us reflect on this. How near or far are you from acting in a way that supports what we all want and need? What words come to mind? I sense warmth, compassion, generosity, kindness of spirit, and acceptance of others in a genuine, caring way. Dignity. The capability to provide for one’s self and for others. Freedom, sovereignty, independence, and moving away from controllers on all levels, and codependency.

The 19th also happens to be the last new moon of this calendar year, in the sign of hope, faith, truth, law, and philosophy: Sagittarius.

There are tightly wound spring tensions that are also present during these weeks rounding out the closing of this calendar year. It is paramount this month to plant your seeds of intention, especially with this new moon. Align with your soul’s purpose, your life lessons that you may wish to share and help teach others from your perspective, or you may wish to broaden your knowledge base and take a new course on culture, philosophy, or even ancient wisdom.

Live your truth day by day and be kind to others. This will ripple out and does come back to you as it contagiously spreads. Things like paying it forward or a warm smile go quite a long way! Pause and take a breath, place your hands over your heart and thank your heart for keeping your rhythm, for sustaining you, for loving you even when you may have failed to acknowledge it. Love on your own heart. Thank it and it will love you back even more. Try it! “Thank you heart, I love you!” and see how you feel.

I wish you all a kind, loving holiday season. Be kind to yourself, which will be the pace car to show others how to treat you. Live by example. Be kind, always. With toxic family situations, you don’t have to participate. Separate yourself from any feeling of heavy obligations - why make yourself a bullseye for abuse? You will feel so much better creating your own healthy way to spend time than to be targeted, ridiculed, ignored, or henpecked. Let this true, final stage in our history mark healthy endings for you, allowing your soul to shine from within and follow your intuitive footsteps as you find your bliss. That is why you’re here. Know thyself, and build a life rooted in love, healthy foundations, and fellowship.

Be selective. Choose who you will share your precious time with. Release the past and prepare to welcome in a seriously bright, freeing, and engaging future that supports your true nature to be fully who you are.

I can guarantee that springtime will be extremely different from where we are today. Time will go back to moving very quickly, so take this time now to breathe, to rest, to plan, to count your blessings, to eliminate wasting effort on those who are not aligned to you (who try to change you or are always correcting you) so that you can have that space for “your people.” The right people will accept you exactly as you are.

Notice how you feel on the solstice (21st). The moon, sun, and Mars will be in serious Capricorn, wanting to be strategic, plan, and budget. Cut waste, tend to your house, as they say. It will pay off significantly for the next several years. Be very mindful and intentional the rest of this month, and it will pay you handsomely not far down the line.
