In Loving Memory: Patricia Ann Perks (1946–2025)
A life of love, resourcefulness, and devotion remembered by family, friends, and community.
NUNDA, NY - Patricia Ann (Williams) Perks, 79, of Nunda NY, passed away peacefully in Perry, NY on September 10, 2025 with her family by her side. She was born in Nunda on June 10, 1946, to Glenn Williams of Warsaw, NY and Betty Davenport of New Bedford, MA.
Patricia (known as Pat or Tricia to many) was a longtime resident of Ellicottville, NY, where she shared her life with her husband, Charlie Perks. Together they owned and operated the Bargain Bowl consignment shop.
Along with her love for thrifting, Patricia worked for many years in hospitality, where she could share her passion for cooking and barbecue which she loved to do for her family. She also enjoyed crafting, painting, and home decorating, especially at Christmas. Until just a few years ago, she devoted herself to caregiving, offering a helping hand when it was needed. Patricia was as resourceful as they come - often making do with less yet never complaining. Her “make-do” spirit was an example to everyone around her.
Her years in Ellicottville blessed her with dear friends, who continued to surround her with love and support during her illness. She found joy in returning to her hometown of Nunda, where she reconnected with family and old friends, while also making new ones.
Patricia is survived by her sons David (Linda) Elliott of Perry and Chris (Rhonda) Elliott of Nunda; grandsons Tyler (Kali), Daniel, William (Kennedy), and Jacob; stepchildren Jeff, Mark, Bradley, and Kathy Perks; her brother Roger (Linda) Burns; and sister-in-law Barbara Williams, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charlie; her parents; and her siblings Richard Williams, Susan Mannery, and Dick Burns.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 20th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 42 East South St., Geneseo, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Suzanne’s Comfort Care Home, Perry, NY.
