Suzy’s Star Readings: September’s Major Astrological Shifts

Uranus, Venus, Mercury and a Virgo new moon bring a loaded stretch of celestial activity on September 10

Suzy’s Star Readings: September’s Celestial Shifts Demand Our Attention

Now that eclipse season has completed, many of my clients are reporting break ups, moves, career pivots, job changes, and unfortunately, plenty of loss as well.

As we roll into September, most of the slower moving planets are retrograding, with Uranus to follow suit on the 10th. This is a time to ease off the gas pedal and coast.

Be careful not to get caught up in emotional reactivity, due to impulsive Mars expressing in the emotional and protective sign of Cancer. There could be matters arising around family, homeland, what we need to feel safe, and nit picking about being right. Save yourself the hassle, know what you need to do if your buttons get pushed. Sometimes it’s as simple as stepping outside or moving to a different room.

We have plenty of celestial conversations happening on the 10th so that’s what this installment will be about.

Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury, both energies involving communication, phones, cars, and technology. It will be going retrograde on the 10th, which will give us a few months to cool down where we got all worked up. This is when we can digest what is going on and decide what we want to do about it. As relevant examples, this does include standing up for what’s right regarding these topics; monitoring, surveillance, our communication devices, our in-home appliances and other technology that is listening, AI, and the Flock cameras.

Venus, the planet of beauty, finances, indulgence, fine arts and romance changes signs from her rulership in Libra and into deep, dark Scorpio. Perfect timing for spooky season. Black lipstick, goth attire – this is Venus in Scorpio. It will also increase interest in the occult, what is reserved for the elite, what is going on “underground” and hidden in the shadows.

Mercury changes sign out of its Virgo rulership and into Libra. This will promote negotiations, peace talks, fairness, advocacy, and approaching situations with “How can we work together so all may benefit?”

Mercury, Venus, and Uranus having motion the same day all have to do with trade, currency, media and technology – including digital currency. This will surely be a hot topic. Watch what happens leading up to the tenth!

Add to all this action, we also have new moon in Virgo on the 10th.  Review, make priority lists, and stay aware of the moving pieces and the players involved.

With new moons, we want to create a list of what we want to move towards over the next month (moon cycle). Read on to see how your rising or sun sign may be impacted.

Aries rising/sun sign: Use temperance and keep on moving forward. Make your announcements, publish, negotiate, and network!

Taurus rising/sun sign: Be careful not to impulse-buy and avoid getting run down. Tough talks with partners are called for; be it intimate, business or other form of partner. Are you (still) on the same page?

Gemini rising/sun sign:  You are personally going through life changes. You’ll be sorting things out over the next several months and having new realizations about your life direction and purpose.

Cancer rising/sun sign: Your dreams and intuition might be working overtime. You’ll be able to start making sense of it these next few months. Journal, write, brush up on your skills.

Leo rising/sun sign: Review your financials and adjust your budget plan. You’ll find the right words for tough discussions with family members, or you may find out a family secret. Pay attention for synchronicities to ignite your big goals.

Virgo rising/sun sign: Your inner vision is sharp and things are clicking for you now, especially in career. New realizations about finances and income emerge. Write a new list of priorities.

Libra rising/sun sign: Travel plans may get jacked up, double check gates and departure times. New insights and philosophies appear, and possibly new information in dreams guide you now.

Scorpio rising/sun sign: Your intuition runs even deeper now and you’re liking what you’re seeing. From the 10th and the couple weeks that follow, you will be especially magnetic; people will be drawn to you, so make your pitch. Things will be coming together wonderfully.

Sagittarius rising/sun sign: Non-conventional people can enter your life now, and it may require some negotiations about how to support one another. Something new regarding career is highlighted; be sure to avoid crossing the line with flirty energy at work.

Capricorn rising/sun sign: If you’ve had hiccups in your health or daily routine, now is when you can see more clearly into the issue. Work with a mentor or guide and go all in with your career, it’s a highly strategic time to advance.

Aquarius rising/sun sign: Brilliant ideas for self-employment may arise, or a sparky new romance can manifest and get intense fast. You can more easily see into the motivations of others now.

Pisces rising/sun sign: New relationships can happen now, be careful not to push things too quickly or make assumptions. Get clarity by having open and honest discussions. You’re mentally sharp and witty now, take it slow.

It’s a loaded few days around the tenth; pay attention and let me know how it works out for you!

Observe how this time unfolds, don’t rush anything. Next month we will have both Mercury and Venus retrograding so you can expect themes of this month to slow down enough for you to go deeper and get more information next month.
