COVID-19 has put a damper on many activities this year. Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE), in cooperation with the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce, wanted to bring some holiday spirit to the village.

With cooler temps setting in and everyone busy “re-imagining” the holidays, the Santa Sheriffs are gearing up for their busiest year in a long time. The Santa Sheriff Program is a coalition of sheriffs, school resource officers and office employees.

As a precautionary measure, the Tri County Arts Council has cancelled the Winter Art Market set for this weekend, due to a spike in Covid cases in the region. 

This year GOACC has decided to accommodate with the circumstances they have been given to provide a safer alternative while abiding by regulations for this year’s post-Thanksgiving parade.

Native American and non-Native American artists will exhibit creative and colorfully expressive visual arts and handcrafted wares at the annual Winter Art Market, presented in partnership by the Tri-County Arts Council and the Seneca Iroquois National Museum.
