The family of Oliver “OJ” Agramonte will honor his memory with a Celebration of Life on what would have been his 92nd birthday, inviting friends to share stories and remember the legendary Ellicottville character.

The family of Oliver (OJ) Agramonte invites friends and comrades (or partners-in-crime) of OJ to a celebration of his wonderful and rarely dull life. OJ would have celebrated 92 years on this earth this coming June 25 so it seems only appropriate to celebrate his life with his family and friends on his earth birthday.

Please come and share your best comical story about OJ since he was the master of the prank and would enjoy hearing the stories re-told. Judging from the foretelling winged picture we share he will probably be sitting at the bar listening to himself being roasted and having a good hearty laugh. Never one to shy away from a could-be humorous spotlight (unless he quietly was doing a good-deed) the photos tell his story in a quick snapshot. OJ loved the preposterous and a good laugh. He also could be counted upon to unassumingly step to the plate to help others, giving rides or lending a hand at the local food pantry, or making a little girl feel special with giraffes.

Come prepared to share your story at OJ’s Celebration of Life at the Ellicottville American Legion on THURSDAY, JUNE 25, 2026 from 1:00-3:00pm. Let’s bring him and his story back home one more time to give him an awesome Life Celebration.

Light refreshments will be served: water, soda, mini sandwiches, desserts, and boxes of tissues, just in case. If beer or alcoholic beverages are preferred, there will be a cash bar. Let’s all show up to demonstrate to his family just how much this legendary, funny, soft-hearted man was loved by so many.
