Madison Szpaicher, a 2017 Alfred State College sport management graduate, has been able to find a career that combines her love of sports and her desire to help others, with the P.U.N.T. Foundation.

With an eye on the future, Holiday Valley Resort in Ellicottville, NY is planning the construction of a 6-passenger chairlift starting in the summer of 2022, with completion of the lift in September 2023.

The Ellicottville volunteer crew picked up the last of the donations, filling a 26-foot box truck, and hit the road to Kentucky in the early hours of Dec. 23rd to help make Christmas a little brighter for victims of the recent tornadoes.

The Ellicottville Town Board, meeting for its monthly session Dec. 15th by telephone hookup, has scheduled a public hearing on a proposed agreement for cable services from Spectrum Northeast LLC. 

The installation banquet for the Ellicottville Fire Department was held Saturday, Dec. 11th. The new 2022 officers were sworn in and the EFD also recognized 15 of their top responders.

This year’s Christmas in Ellicottville Breakfast with Santa raised donations for the Ellicottville Food Pantry in the form of non-perishable food items and $783 in cash donations.
