The idea was born out of experience. And a lack of options.  When Samantha Armstrong married in the summer of 2016, she utilized the space across the street from Pioneer Motorsport, her future husband’s family business.

The monthly meeting of the Ellicottville Village Planning Board took place this past Tuesday evening, January 12th. The meeting opened with a sign approval for Chiba Chiba CBD, Apparel and Gifts.

This past year proved to be yet another busy, challenging (and scary) year, but in the end, let’s hope 2020 ends with a ray of hope for us all with a New Year right around the corner, a prosperous 2021. 

The thought of food delivers such a strong message… Especially at this time of year. It’s an every day preparation for so many, a table set and a meal that fills you up. But for some in our area, a stomach growls and the resources aren’t available.

The Virtual Auction held the evening of Friday, Dec. 18th was certainly a fun time for all that participated. Bob’s presence was obvious to all for Bob McCarthy’s 15th annual Irish Christmas Re-imagined.

This month, the Chamber’s Christmas in Ellicottville Committee decided to create and sell an EVL face covering. The Chamber purchased them and all of the proceeds were earmarked for the Ellicottville Food Pantry. 

Demo Day is a great way to “try before you buy”, offering FREE ski and snowboard demos from each of Ellicottville’s specialty ski and snowboard shops.

For eleventh grader Elsa Woodarek, community service projects have been an integral part of her educational experience at Ellicottville Central School since seventh grade.

After COVID-19 forced an early season ender last March, ski resorts across the country have been chomping at the bit to get those lifts spinning again.
