Nashville Nights Set to Bring a New Spring Energy to Ellicottville

Chamber of Commerce unveils a bold new April festival as part of an expanded 2026 events calendar and renewed vision for year-round tourism

With Executive Director Barb Pump entering her second year at the helm, the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce is rolling out a refreshed vision, new ideas, and an expanded events calendar that will provide opportunities for both visitors and local businesses.

Pump stepped into the role leading the organization’s strategic direction, marketing initiatives, and signature events. She has been working closely with Chamber members, local businesses, and tourism partners to strengthen Ellicottville’s year-round appeal while continuing to grow the festivals that have become the backbone of the village’s economic engine.

“My first year as Executive Director has reinforced just how much potential Ellicottville holds,” Pump said. “The strength of our business community - both local and regional - combined with the passion of our residents, creates an incredible foundation for growth.”

She added that what inspires her most is the community’s shared commitment to growth while preserving the village’s identity. “This village is unified around a shared goal: ensuring Ellicottville continues to rise, evolve, and thrive while preserving the adventure, charm, and character that make it so special.”

“Our events are more than just weekends of fun,” Pump shared with ellicottvilleNOW. “They drive overnight stays, support small businesses, and keep Ellicottville visible and vibrant throughout all four seasons.”

The Chamber’s 2026 calendar continues to feature the festivals that locals and visitors have come to love, starting with winter favorites and rolling into spring and summer tourism.

Following a stellar Winter Blues Weekend just a few weeks ago, the village continues to buzz with live music and après-ski energy as we head into February. Watch for Winter Music Jam to fill the air Presidents Day weekend, Feb. 13-15th, followed by Ellicottville’s iconic Winter Carnival and Mardi Gras Parade in March. Memorial Day Weekend celebrations kick off warmer weather traffic, bringing with it a summer calendar full of celebrations - from Summer Music Festival to the Taste of Ellicottville. Throw in fall favorites such as long-running Rock N’ Roll Weekend in September and Fall Festival in October, and we’re right back to preparing for the holidays and another epic ski season.

Each of these events continues to draw tens of thousands of visitors to the village year after year, each designed to create strong foot traffic across lodging properties, restaurants, retailers, and attractions - a strategy the Chamber continues to refine with data-driven marketing and regional outreach.

“Heading into 2026, I’m energized by the momentum we’re building and the opportunities ahead to elevate our brand, expand our impact, and continue delivering experiences that make Ellicottville unforgettable,” Pump said.

NEW FOR 2026: NASHVILLE NIGHTS COMES TO ELLICOTTVILLE

One of the most exciting additions to the 2026 schedule is a brand-new event: Nashville Nights in Ellicottville, set for April 17-19th. The multi-bar, country-themed music experience will transform the village into a high-energy celebration inspired by the sights and sounds of Nashville. Visitors can expect live performances across multiple venues, themed cocktails, line dancing, cowboy hats and boots, neon lights, and a weekend packed with Southern-inspired fun.

The Chamber sees Nashville Nights as a strategic addition to the spring shoulder season, designed to drive overnight stays while boosting traffic for bars, restaurants, and retail shops during what is typically a slower time of year.

“For years, our businesses have navigated the challenges of ‘mud season,’ when visitation naturally dips as we transition into spring,” Pump explained. “Nashville Nights was created as a fresh, lively way to reimagine that period and bring new energy into the village.”

By bringing the fun, music, and atmosphere of a destination like Nashville to Ellicottville, the Chamber hopes to attract visitors who may not typically travel here in April. “Our goal is to show that no matter the season, there is always something exciting happening in Ellicottville - and that our shops, restaurants, bars, and lodging partners are ready to welcome them,” Pump said.

The event also offers new cross-promotion opportunities for businesses and adds a fresh, high-impact experience to Ellicottville’s growing portfolio of signature festivals. Chamber organizers will be sharing promotional assets, participation details, and partnership opportunities with members in the coming weeks, encouraging businesses to book bands, line-dancing programming, and creative activations to make the inaugural year a standout success.

A YEAR OF GROWTH AND INNOVATION

Beyond events, Pump is also focused on strengthening member benefits, expanding marketing reach, and exploring new tourism campaigns that keep Ellicottville competitive in an increasingly crowded travel market.

“This year, we’re focused on strengthening communication, collaboration, and innovation across our community,” she said. One major priority is creating more opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in fields that inspire them, helping build future career pathways right here in Ellicottville.”

The Chamber is also developing new ways for businesses to partner on creative ideas, activities, and products that enhance the visitor experience and drive economic growth. A major milestone ahead is the launch of the Chamber’s new 2026 website. The updated platform will give members greater control over their business information, provide visitors with a more intuitive and engaging experience, and integrate directly with the 2026 Guide to Ellicottville. Each advertisement will link directly to the business, strengthening customer connections and supporting real-time engagement.

“And that’s just the beginning,” Pump said. “We have several exciting initiatives in development that will benefit our members, partners, and the community as a whole. Collaboration will be at the heart of everything we do, and I’m thrilled about the creative ideas, new events, and expanded partnerships that will shape Ellicottville’s next chapter.”

As the village looks ahead to another busy year, the message is clear: Ellicottville continues to evolve, while staying true to the community spirit that makes it such a special place to live, work, and visit.

More event details and updates will be announced throughout the year. Businesses interested in the Chamber’s new initiatives, sponsorship opportunities, and/or participating in upcoming festivals are encouraged to stay connected through the Chamber’s social platforms and by signing up for the Chamber’s e-newsletter.
