A move to repopulate Ellicottville with full-time residents is becoming a key issue in the discussions surrounding the Downtown Revitalization Initiative project.

The Ellicottville Town Board, during its monthly meeting, talked to Animal Control Officer Paul Timkey who wants to continue in his job but recommended the town contract for placement services with the SPCA of Cattaraugus County.

The weather was beautiful, the food was outstanding, and our village was full of smiles and laughter. This past weekend we celebrated our annual Taste of Ellicottville which included 19 local restaurants.

The Tri-County Arts Council will host an artist talk and opening public reception for an extraordinary exhibit of two artists’ works, Same Inside by Karle Norman, and Ruminations Rising by Michelle Capizzi from 7:00-9:00PM this Friday, August 20th.

Since 2015, Paws of Honor has made it their mission to bring awareness to retired K9s across America. It is now responsible for the care of over 200 ex-military and law enforcement dogs across 17 states.
